What is a Virtual Account Executive?

A Virtual Account Executive is a person responsible for running his or her own business or organization and has sales, administrative and supervisory qualities. As a Virtual Account Executive you assist in building great relationships and creating a bond between the clients, their products or services and the consumer. The essence of a V.A.E. is a sound commercial and qualitative approach of the target group of their clients, creating new business and maintaining a good relationship with existing customers.

As a V.A.E. you will need to be able to independently and purposefully ensure to achieve the implementation and progress of the targets set.

While always keeping in mind the satisfaction of the clients as well as their customers fulfilling their needs and expectations.

Maintaining confidentiality and a high level of discretion.

As a Virtual Account Executive you'll also have to be able to provide customer support, determining the needs of and consulting potential new prospects.

Performing a variety of routine administrative duties like answering phone calls, setting appointments, preparing of meetings, agenda planning as well as handling or resolving complaints and providing training and consultation.

  • Representing clients to their prospects via telephone, videophone, internet, social media and e-mail.

  • Online Market research to get market information and to present the products and services of clients in a proper manner so they can achieve their commercial objectives.

  • Building of effective social marketing strategies to achieve meeting the clients objectives.

  • Generating, qualifying and managing of leads, information gathering, relationship development for clients on social platforms.

  • Performing and proactive completion of detailed and organized business and office tasks such as answering phone calls and e-mails, word processing, basic spreadsheets and presentations.

  • Analyzing, prioritizing and scheduling all the tasks that need to be done.

  • Processing of customer files sorting, scanning and photocopying of documents.

My training and past working experience has made me a very passionate, independent and self confident Tele-business representative. Intensively trained in making and answering phone calls interacting B2B and B2C with different companies, vendors and consumers in a wide variety on a daily basis. Providing me with knowledge of sales promoting principles and tactics for selling products or services as well as handling customer inquiries, providing information, process orders and resolving issues. While always keeping in mind the satisfaction of my clients as well as their customers needs and expectations. Regularly resulting in clients and prospects requesting me as their single point of contact, causing me to manage my own portfolio of paying customers supporting them from the implementation through the entire process. From the preparation and progress, the administration and if necessary the handling of complaints. Giving me strategic insight to set my own priorities and independently manage my own accounts.
